ST. LUKE CHARISMATIC
EPISCOPAL CHURCH
IN MANCHESTER, GEORGIA

Rev. Canon Robert Wills Th.D. Celebrating our 9th year as a Church
We are a Theologically Orthodox Three Streams Church that is Evangelical, Charismatic, and Sacramental. We believe in: the Trinity, the historical Creeds of the Church, Sacramental Anglo-Catholic Liturgical Worship, Evangelical Bible Teaching and Preaching, Salvation through Jesus Christ, Charismatic Expression of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and Apostolic Succession. The Feast of the Baptism of Christ is the anniversary of St. Luke Church. We are in our ninth year as a church.
Pentecost is about the Spirit Filled Life.
From Pentecost Sunday until The feast of Transfiguration, we celebrate the Season of Pentecost. This time of year begins with a focus on the coming and ministry of the Holy Spirit and its impact upon Christians. This season is about awareness of our spirituality. This season also focuses on faith and spiritual growth through the leading and power of the Holy Spirit, as a part of our life in Christ. This is a time for recognizing the importance of the Holy Spirit's presence in the Earth in the lives of believers. The Button below marked "Pentecost Season" leads to an article about this season of the Church year.
The Icon
of the of Pentecost shows the Apostles receiving the
tongues of fire. King David with a white robe of righteousness is under the altar. David's tomb may have been
at the bottom of the hill upon which the Upper Room was built. This season is about the work of the Holy Spirit.
